Paris Fashion & Textiles
PARIS, CAPITAL OF FASHION
Paris is regarded as one of the world’s fashion capitals, alongside London, Milan and New York.
Spread throughout the city are many fashion boutiques, including the headquarters of most major French fashion houses, such as Chanel, Christian Dior, Louis Vuitton, and Christian Lacroix.
À La Mode
Paris is the ideal destination for fashion students on an educational trip looking for inspiration and maybe hoping to work within the industry.
Our very popular 2-night trip to Paris gives your group the opportunity to see the latest styles from the world’s leading designers. It includes a visit to Palais Galliera, the museum devoted to fashion, with exhibits of French fashion design and costume from the eighteenth century to the present day.
We have also included a visit to the Musée de la Mode et du Textile, which features exhibitions from a collection of over 81,000 pieces, representing the history of costume from the French Regency period to the present day. The work of Dior, Lacroix, Paco Rabanne, Yves Saint Laurent, and other famous French fashion designers are held in the collection.
Finally, a trip to Paris would not be complete without a sightseeing tour on the River Seine.
“Charli really looked after the arrangements and, as usual, the company did not let me down. Everything was dealt with speedily and I cannot praise the company enough for this.”
