Newcastle has so much to offer school groups of all ages so get ready to be charmed by the famous Geordie spirit in a city bursting with vibrancy, top-notch attractions and museums.
Whether you visit Beamish – the Living Museum of the North, which offers a unique, working experience of life in the Great North offering unrivalled learning opportunities or The Unesco World Heritage Roman Army site Vindolanda, there is something suitable for students of all ages. Not forgetting a stroll along the famous Quayside along the banks of the River Tyne which is a must visit and home to the Gateshead Millennium Bridge offering excellent photo opportunities.

ITINERARY
- DAY *1*
Travel by private coach to Newcastle. On route you will get a chance to see The Angel of the North which is a good place to eat packed lunches and take photos.
After lunch travel to Beamish Open Air Museum which tells the story of life in North East England over the last two centuries.
Check in to your accommodation. - DAY *2*
Your second day spent here will give the students a chance to learn more about the city firstly by visiting any art lovers dream BALTIC which hosts art displays from contemporary artists with excellent views over Millennium Bridge from the top floor.
The afternoon will be spent strolling the famous Quayside and at the stone fortress – Newcastle Castle. - DAY *3*
Depart after breakfast and before heading home visit Vindolanda an archaeological site and museum around an excavated Roman fort and village, with bath-house ruins.
