VISIT the best places midlands has to offer

Take your students on a 4 night tour of the Midlands where you can take in the history, culture and wildlife in this fascinating region. Warwick Castle is one of the must-see visits on the tour list, with over 1,100 years of history. You’ll also get to explore life in the 1850’s at the popular Black Country Museum. No trip to this area is complete without going to Cadbury’s World, where you’ll have access to the 4D Chocolate Adventure, Green Screen, Have a Go Zone & more. In addition, you’ll get to ride on a Steam Train on the Severn Valley Railway, see the animals at Dudley Zoo and experience the fascinating museums in Ironbridge.

The first steam train to run on US soil was the Stourbridge Lion built in 1828.


DAY *1*

Depart from your school and head to Warwick Castle, Britain’s ultimate historical experience. Here you’ll explore over 1,100 years of history, see live shows, stunning grounds and gardens that are rich in history. 

Afterwards, you can head to your accommodation where the children can settle in. An evening meal at the accommodation is included for this evening.

DAY *2*

You will spend the first part of the day visiting Dudley Zoo & Castle. A great outing for both students and teachers. The zoo is home to hundreds of animals and is set around an 11th Century Castle.

You’ll then head off to the Black Country Museum, which offers the opportunity to explore life in an 1850’s iron-working town with a coal steam, forge, steam engine & shops that take you back in time. 

DAY *3*

Today starts with a fun filled visit to Cadbury World! Offering a wonderful experience giving children a fascinating insight into the rich heritage of the nation’s favourite chocolate brand.

With a variety of zones showcasing history, chocolate making, and now includes the 4D Chocolate Adventure cinema experience.

After the visit you will head to the The National Sea Life Centre; an aquarium with over 60 displays of freshwater and marine life & home the the UK’s only 360 degree ocean tunnel.

After marveling at the ocean’s creatures, you’ll move on to Thinktank Birmingham. This exciting attraction offers ten galleries of historical artefacts, modern interactives and fantastic futuristic facts.

DAY *4*

Today you’ll enjoy a train ride on the Severn Valley Railway, one way from Kidderminster to Bridgnorth. Then it’s off to explore Ironbridge, where we can add on some of the Ironbridge Museums if you wish. Please let us know and we can book these for you. 

DAY *5*

Depart your accommodation after breakfast and head to Stratford upon Avon for the day. The most popular visits here include the MAD Museum, Shakespeare’s House and the Butterfly Farm. Let us know what you’d like to do and we’ll get it booked for you! After a fun day in Stratford, it’s time to head back to school.
