Home to 8.4 million people, of some of the world’s most famous landmarks and as seen in hundreds of films and TV shows, New York will be a fabulous trip for your students.
Not only does it have such diversity and culture, it is also educationally rich. Many different subjects can be covered in this one destination, engaging and enthusing your students. Our itinerary gives you an introduction to the some of the main attractions, giving you a chance to see as much as possible during the four days spent here.
Embrace the fast-paced lifestyle of the city by visiting Times Square, the centre of world’s entertainment industry. If you have a head for heights, travel to the top of the Empire State Building or Rockefeller Centre, and experience the panoramic views of the city skyline.
One of the most iconic landmarks known in New York is the Statue of Liberty, which you can view as you sail to Ellis Island and the Immigration Museum. And a visit to the 9/11 Memorial Museum, which honours the victims of that awful day, will provide your students with a thoughtful experience.
No trip to New York is complete without some free time to experience Central Park, the most visited urban park in the United States, and perhaps a trip to Macy’s and Bloomingdales! This itinerary can be tailor-made to your specific requirements.

ITINERARY
- DAY *1*
Arrive into New York during the afternoon and a private coach will take you to your accommodation.
Your evening will be spent exploring the sights and sounds of Times Square. - DAY *2*
Discover what New York has to offer on a guided tour of the city with a professional guide. See some of the most recognisable sights, including One World Trade Center, Rockefeller Centre and Brooklyn Bridge. Finish the tour at Central Park, where you will get a chance to explore and get some lunch from one of the many food vendors including corn dogs or pretzels.
In the afternoon, visit the Empire State Building, the 102-story skyscraper located on Fifth Avenue, and take advantage of the great photo opportunity on the observation deck.
- DAY *3*
Take a cruise to Ellis Island, passing the Statue of Liberty on the way. Visit the Immigration Museum, which tells moving story of the 12 million immigrants who entered America through the golden door of Ellis Island.
Back on dry land, and it’s time to visit the 9/11 Memorial Museum and learn about the story of 9/11 through multimedia displays, archives, narratives and a collection of monumental and authentic artefacts.
- DAY *4*
On your last day explore other parts of the city, including one of the many museums. Perhaps Museum of Modern Art, or Broadway, or a bit of shopping at one of the many famous stores. Then it’s time for your return to the airport and your flight home, travelling overnight and arriving back early the following day.
