This ready made itinerary is great for all your students. Children can learn about what happened when Mount Vesuvius erupted on 24 August AD 79. Pompeii and Herculaneum were buried in ash, mud and a rock killing many locals. This tour is one of our favourites and gives students a chance to learn about Archaeology. ITINERARY
- DAY *1*
Fly to Naples and then on to your accommodation, check in and have some free time to explore the local area and relax.
- DAY *2*
A guide will join you for a tour of the archaeological site of Pompeii. Spend the afternoon on a guided tour of the smaller, but better-preserved, site of Herculaneum.
- DAY *3*
A professional guide will join you for a half-day tour of the beautiful city of Naples. Spend some free time exploring or shopping in Naples at your own leisure, or visit the archaeological museum on a guided tour for an additional charge.
- DAY *4*
Depart your accommodation and take an airport transfer to the airport where you will fly back home to the UK.
