Mountains and Lakes that Inspire Imagination

With the glistening Windermere, exquisite hilltops and countryside, it is not difficult to understand why so many authors got their inspiration from this location. With one of the most famous being Beatrix Potter.

Take your students to the World of Beatrix Potter and bring the magical characters alive. Then discover her house and see where Peter Rabbit was created.

Take a visit to Brockhole Visitor Centre and have a stroll in the gardens. Looking to do something a little different? Why not catch a ride on the river cruise across Windermere and learn all about the history of the area? Or climb abroad a steam train for a countryside adventure.
