Journey’s End in Ypres

Another chance to experience this masterpiece of The Great War

JOURNEY’S END. This seminal Great War masterpiece by RC Sherriff, who fought at Passchendaele 100 years ago,  was given its Ypres debut in 2017. The play was performed in an immersive bunker at the historic Kruitmagazijn (Ammunitions Dump).

Due to ‘popular demand’, the production is returning to Belgium from 2nd – 11th November 2019. This time the play will be performed at the historic Skindles in Poperinge, near to where Sherrif fought and was wounded.

The MESH Theatre Company brings high-quality, professional war dramas to historic war zones.

Their aim is to produce live theatre ‘where history speaks’, bringing truth and life to classic war dramas in evocative buildings, close to sites so many lives were lost.

This production can be combined with our 1 night or 2 night trip to Ypres.
